Hey BS. I’ve had to wait to post to calm down after that and I was so angry at Albrighton for his mistake. But that’s all it was, a mistake.

I don’t understand where all this vitriol has come from towards someone who has been a 7/10 performer for us over over half a decade. Yes he right totally messed up today but he’s more than good enough to be a squad player for us and offers something different.

So yes, today he was possessed by the spirit of Junior Lewis for a stupid moment, but that’s today. We move on.

It’s a reaction made within minutes of him making the mistake. You can’t forgive that? You can’t factor that in? Even Mersey had to wait to post because he was angry with him but I’m not allowed to be?!

I still maintain that he’s ready to be moved on. I would prefer up and coming squad players and it’s not his first very costly mistake. Now wind your neck in you pompous arrse

Nobody is saying that you can’t vent your spleen straight after a costly mistake...... my point was the over reaction of it.
I disagree with your summary of where Albrighton fits within our squad and defended him.
If that makes me a ‘pompous arssse’ or a ‘self righteous priiiiiiccckkk’ then I can’t disagree.
And as somebody who works daily with people battling Mental Health challenges I am not sure getting frustrated by somebody disagreeing with you is conducive to a ‘good day’

The point actually is - you don’t have to react to the over reaction. You know that’s what I do so why even bother? It wasn’t your defending of Albrighton that makes you come across as pompous, it’s the way you do it, the old ‘you really don’t help yourself’ rubbish.

For someone who works with people with mental issues you don’t really seem to understand much about them - bit like the NHS in that respect

But surely giving an opposite opinion is what we are all about on here......
Agreements/disagreements/good times/bad times etc.
If my ‘you don’t really help yourself’ offended you then I apologise BS but most of us on here post then expect disagreement etc to what we put.
As for ‘don’t understand much’, having been through the journey myself and got to the point of making my job to help those starting the journey through MH I completely agree about the NHS.
