What next?

For me I think this will happen. At some point later this month Ole will be sacked and Carrick will take over as caretaker manager. And at that point we’ll look for a replacement. I’m certain Ed would like Poch to take over as he has some sort of relevant team building experience but I wouldn’t rule out Allegri or Blanc.

It’s gotten to the point now where I’d imagine most of our fans know he has to go - let’s put it this way... I doubt a single fan of any club in the PL would want Ole as their manager so why should we put up with Ed’s failed attempt at appeasement?

Other managers have failed but we haven’t tried going for a manager who has some relevant experience in doing what needs done and a forward thinking philosophy combined with an energy that inspires players. Once we get that guy in things will be better. Probably still not perfect because with Ed and the Glazers there how can it be perfect but we should aim closer to a Klopp than a Hodgson style appointment ASAP because it’s better to have a capable manager than not have one - right?

Hopefully we’ll get relegated and the Glazers will finally sack Ed.

You just know we'd miss! Hafi would bring out some 'expected death' stats of course.

I expect Liverpool will be his last game. I'm half expecting a massive managerial merry go round the following day of Pochettino going to United & Allegri going to Spurs both with immediate effect.

I don't see a reason why either manager would stall it. Pochettino's vibes have screamed "someone (with money) come for me" since the start of the season, and Allegri will see City, Pool, Chelsea & Arsenal as clubs with too fixed a structure to approach him and will seize the opportunity before it closes.

I hope not cos both teams would be FAR better off with those changes, will bounce back quickly.

Whoever comes in we can rely on the new manager bounce for a dozen games. Then get another new manager for the next dozen, and onto the title.

I’d bet good money that Pochettino and Allegri won’t be in the United and Spurs jobs any time soon.

Excellent choice of words

So who will Spurs get instead? Eddie Howe?

I’d imagine it’d be someone like that, or of a similar ilk. I can’t see Spurs and Allegri being a thing, nor us getting Poch. I may be wrong and they even then I wouldn’t expect it any time soon, more likely at the end of the season.
