I know we never really get these as it’s usually just the same side but we’ve a few things to look at. Matip is out for the foreseeable future and with Joe Gomez not looking great, I expect Lovren to come in and be Big Virgil’s partner.
Now the problem, Fabinho is one booking away from a suspension and we’ve got City up next. Do we risk playing him and him not playing v City or do we just leave him at home? I’d leave him, no point taking the risk and so this is what I’d go with v Villa.

That would be my choice, however, I'd have much preferred that he'd have done a Fernandinho and take a card in the EFL and be suspended for Villa.

I was surprised to see that a prem booking counted so Fernandinho was banned for cup game but had fab played wed and got booked it wouldn’t have counted for the villa game - daft but that’s what they said
