Admittedly there isn't much to go off just yet but with Mount getting his first England goal tonight, Tammy getting his the other day, a start for CHO and a debut for Tomori our impressive youngsters are moving into the national team pretty quickly. James is impressing in the under 21s and there's a couple of others waiting in the wings, who from our English players do you see as having the best career for England? If I had to make a snap decision now, even though I think he's been pretty quiet in the games he's played so far, I'd go for Mount purely because the position he plays and the way he plays along with his attitude give us something we don't currently have. Where as the other lads have plenty of competition for their spots.

Also Chelsae have more of Southgate's ear than others thanks to Holland being there. Might be a little unfair on say Maddison but our lads are always gonna get a chance at least

Yes he's always been at RB but he plays like a box to box midfielder if you want to go find clips of him playing for Wigan
And he was leaps and bounds their best player so it was considered weird for that to be a RB. Someone even wrote an article saying he was probably the most gifted player to ever play for Wigan

Trent is doing so well there in a position that isnt the easiest to source great players for that I cant see why you would tinker with that

I think he wants to play cm. I think it would make better use of his skill set too which is very similar to Gerrards. Gerrard could have been a WC full back.
Be good to see that article on the press blarmy if you can find it.

Excuse the cliche...Sky's the limit for that lot of them.
Callum will come out on the top as having the best England career in years to come, I suspect. Youngest and creme of the crop.
Closely followed by James or Mount.
