Came across this earlier.
"Vardy has scored 91 premier league goals from 391 shots. Approximately 1 in 4. 50% of shots are on target.
Kane has scored 131 premier league goals from 728 shots. Approx 1 in 6.5. 45% of shots are on target.
Aguero has scored 173 premier league goals from 960 shots. Approx 1 in 5. 41% of shots are on target."
This season he's scored 11 goals from 25 shots, 16 of which were on target.
I've always said he's the most prolific striker in the league.
🔥🔥🔥🔥

Arro, you were a striker, I'd like to see your stats. How many posts to catch how many fish.
And still they come, I would have thought you would have fished them out by now.

I was prolific, I never needed many chances to score. You don't need to take my word for it though, ask Dunge how many chances I needed to score.

But he isn't the most prolific is he, otherwise he'd have more goals.

Prolific isn't about how many goals you score, it's about how many chances you need to score. Vardy is the most prolific because he needs the least amount of chances. Kane is the least prolific of the three because he needs the most amount of chances. It's pretty simple really.

If Vardy had the same amount of chances as Kane based on his ratio he'd have scored 169. Equally if Kane had only had 391 shots he would have only scored 71. The only reason Kane has scored more is because he's been playing in a team that create more chances for him.

Interesting, though psychologically, if you’re a striker in a team that creates hatfuls of chances, you become more profligate in front of goal as you know there’s always another chance coming your way. If you’re feeding off scraps, every shot matters and it improves your efficiency.

For their differences in style, there are two big things that are the same for Vardy and Kane:
Firstly that their presence in their club side makes finding another striker very difficult. Both clubs face a big problem recruiting up front because the competition is so established and successful.
Secondly that I reckon practically no fans of either club would want to swap one out for the other.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Before I decide who I want as our striker, is the choice the Kane who plays for Spurs or the Kane who played for us?

I believe JV has scored in his last 5 consecutive games, only 7 to go to break his own record, if he gets to 11 the 12th game will be against Liverpool.
