Fantastic time to post with almost no kvnt on
Not long back from one.
Family friend I've known 50+ years.
It was a total Blast as they always are.
Dark coloured clothing banned.
String Quartet, side splitting anecdotes, Jazz Band, songs, and poems.
I honestly haven't laughed as much in a 10 hour period in my life.

Cant remember what we left Daves too but it was something by The Jam, That's Entertainment most probably.
Only person I have ever heard of that the decision over his own life.
Long story short, got sick needed a heart transplant, told he would get one. 8/9 months later on a Tuesday morning Doc told him he was no longer a candidate and the wee (really wee, he only slept in hospital he was able to live a kinda normal life) machine was keeping him alive and to tell us when you wanted us to turn it off"
He turned it off on the Friday, so as not to prolong it for his kids and was dead on the Sunday.

I’d pump your missus on it before my urine had a chance to deep down to your still-warm corpse.

Cheers Zico.
Totally random that John ever came into our lives.
My big sis was 17 when she joined the CND ( anti-nuclear group ).
May 1962 the Yanks sailed up the Clyde with their nuclear subs.
She protested at the Holy Loch & got lifted with 100's of others.
Shared an overnight in the cells with an older woman.
They got talking and bonded right away.
She was Helen - the brilliant auld widow in the wheelchair.
My family have been Lefties for 5 generations.
6 including my weans.
