We might have signed three players better than what we have in the summer, but the squad is weaker overall. You can't say this wasn't naive by Ole and at worst incompetent.

I would think he's on about the idea that Ole discusses the player he wants, and then Ed signs them or not.

Ole "We are very happy with the recruitment we did. Towards the end the right one we just didn't get him over the line.

"You'd rather bite the bullet and wait because you don't want to spend big amounts of money on something that you are not sure of."


We didn't need an expensive cm or forward though.

The forward wasn't expensive, and we did need him. We needed Harry but paid to much.

I never said Ole actually makes the signings. He didn't seem decisive on wanting a fourth player.
