No it isn't. It is a yellow card offence. It becomes a red card offence if it prevents a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Which was clearly the case in the FA cup game

No complaints from Alisson or the Liverpool team. Not sure what the issue is. It's a red card

Atkinson was only too delighted. you could tell by how he shut it all down. normally he's just the type to wave the player off arrogantly.

his antics after were then classic Atkinson sticking it to the big team to show who's boss.
