I hope they're a warning to levy too. If we continue not to invest we'll be in their position in a couple of years.

They did do that. Though they're paying it off I think in installments over 5 year period.

OP this is what I would have expected from the Liverpool fans also. Wanting to keep silva. They seem delighted he was sacked. While Pelligrini and the other hopeless managers have jobs I will be happy

You never know, a lot of our supporters, including a lot on the board want Mourinho to fail, if that happens, I could still be picking up money at the end of the season.

That said I expect Spurs to at least get Europa football next season under Mourinho, which would have been very difficult under the previous manager, the way the results were panning out.
