Dave I'd love Fras tae stay but it will require a lot of give and take, he's on a fortune in wages, I realise he might want to stay but would he drop as much as needed?

Also the Saints might want a good few quid, that said we've sold a few cracking players tae them recently, they're owe us?

Piff ... I’ll hold my hands up and say I was pretty ‘meh’ on the big man coming back, purely because his confidence seemed to be shot to pieces. Happy to have been SO wrong about the big man. Agree it will take an awful lot to make his move permanent ... BUT he’s clearly loving his football again, and that will maybe count for a lot after such a terrible time out in the cold down South?

I think Forster is at a stage where he needs to look at his long term. A move to celtic guarantees it, staying at Saints leaves him no pun intended in the lurch. I think he'll do what he can to move permanently

Southampton might even help with wages to move him on. Unless another club shows interest
