Why DO the bbc think we all love ( and can't get enough ) of Liverpool.
Tonight we have no less than 6 separate items on this club, including the expect "dumbing down" of a 5-0 loss, trying to make us think it almost did not happen because they turned out some sort of school boy eleven.
Firstly, the age of the team ( like Franks "kids" we keep hearing about ) is irrelevant. Football is a young blokes game at this level, with plenty of "kids" going unmentioned while playing for other teams.
Secondly, they got thrashed in a cup quarter final. If it were anyone else ( apart from the other darlings, Utd ) they would write a stinging article on how they were comprehensively beaten in a big cup game, with the future of the club a massive worry. You know like they do every time Spurs get beat by more than a goal or two.
Apart from the odd article, the BBC website is a joke.

Bigger question is who gives a feck about the club world cup.
LFC are on a hiding to nothing. Win it and who cares, its a money making exercise, few will watch the games, are they even on TV? its about a meaningful as celebrating Halloween.
Lose it and what a waste of time and effort and putting the league in jeopardy, travelling 9000 miles or whatever, postponing league games and losing domestic cup games as a consequence.

Well obviously the club does give a deck about it. Us fans do too as it’s the only trophy we’ve never won.
Previous teams that’ve won the CL seemed to give a feck about it as well. Don’t worry you might get there one day.
