Have any of you lot seen this, apparently Nigel Clough could be going to Forest. Have we renewed his contract yet?
http://www.people.co.uk/sport/2011/09/25/nigel-clough-could-follow-in-his-fathers-footsteps-and-become-nottingham-forest-boss-if-steve-mcclaren-fails-to-turn-things-around-102039-23444085/ keep off red dogs
Why would he go when he is negotiating his new contract with the board at DCFC??? Glick has already confirmed talks are taking place so it's just real poor news reporting to cause a stir, or is it????
Nigel could be going Red dogs..

The article isn't worth commenting on but I think clough could name his price (within reason) and GSE will accept it. Without Nigel, they are ******.

Desperate journalism.
However this post has gone on both Derby and Notts Forest's boards.
Has ANY Florist supporter come on and said:-
"Nigel Clough for Florest.................nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...................I will burn my season ticket..........never buy a replica shirt...............will refuse ever to come to West Bridgeford on match day"
By the way, this is MY reaction to the story:

You'd love him at the City Ground, wouldn't you?

If that snake in the grass ever became Forest manager then it's across the bridge to watch Notts for me until he gets sacked.
A fair few trickys despise him for the snide remarks he makes about our club and would never welcome him back!

I very much doubt that we have any interest in Clough but I did hear a rumour a couple of weeks ago that Mac would like Metgod to join him at Forest.

He won't want to come.
We don't want him.
You don't want to lose him.
So why would he end up here? Dreadful journalism methinks...
