Having predicted draws against Cardiff and WBA, Gertie the psychic goldfish suggests the following outcomes, before our crucial away games at Brentford and Forest in early February.
Wednesday (h) - win
QPR (a) - loss
Milwall (h) - win
Wigan (h) - win
Brentford play:
QPR (h) - win
Huddersfield (a) - draw
Forest (h) - draw
Hull (a) - lose
Forest play:
Reading (a) - draw
Luton (h)- win
Reading (h) - win
Brentford (a) - draw
Excluding Fulham, who are losing a bit of momentum, Gertie thinks we will get 9 points, Brentford will get 5 and Forest will get 8, going into the matches against Forest and Brentford.
In other words, Gertie is confident we will be 10 points ahead of Forest by the time we play them in February. Do you agree? Trust in Gertie and remember, as Snakebite the cat likes to remind us, a goldfish is not just for Christmas, it's for dinner.
Trust a goldfish

I prefer the lucky shirt method. I wear it and we get a result.
You’re welcome 👍

Truth be told, we’re all susceptible to a few bumps here and there - even WBA and a Leeds, who so far seem to given themselves a little breathing space
Fires for example, haven’t been great at home, and still are very unconvincing, yet can still grind our results - 9 out of 9 over Christmas is an excellent return when it easily could have just been 5 points
Leeds, have shown they’re a great attacking team, but are also susceptible to letting in goals too - they’ve scored a lot of last minute equalisers and winners that have probably masked over where they could have been - but no doubt have a frightening GD and can always score
WBA - again very strong, but still can have the odd blip every now and again
Brentford are my outside bet for the team taking a Automatic place - very well organised, and if Ollie Watkins can stay injury free, will continue to score
All in all, we’re half way through the season, and there’s a long way to go - they’ll be still many twists and turns
It looks like WBA and Leeds should take the top 2 places, but I’m not convinced it’ll end up like that - I’m not saying Forest will challenge, we seem far too inconsistent - but depending on the Jan window transfers, it could be very interesting
If we win our game in hand, we’ll be 6 points off the top, and we still all have to play each other
On a completely selfish note, I think we’ve improved on last season, and there’s a positive feeling down at the City Ground - overall I’m happy where we are, and as ling as we keep going in this direction - we’ll get stronger

Wonder where QPR would be if they could defend?..

I'd wear my Vinnie Jones boxer shorts if I could still fit into them, Stoopo.
