The stats you are listing don’t tell me half as much as watching him play.

And as for Murray and his Premier League goals record. The reason he isn’t playing is because he was replaced by a player who had never played a game in the Premier League.

And had only really scored goals in the Championship

We can sit around waiting for perfection or we can go for someone such as Adams to work with one of best coaches in the business and with a recent record if success at this level.

If however this is an eleventh hour hanging about for a phone call situation on deadline day go for someone else.

I personally would prefer an already high scoring player from another English lower level club or even Scotland.

Murray.. I just don’t think he’s for us

Ivan Toney would be my pick. Quick powerful, can play as a loan striker, 23 scored for fun in L1, wouldn't displace PB but would be an improvement on Eddie.

Although not covered by my post above, in fact I do:

Gyasi Zardes, playing in MLS and an established US international. He is reportedly making about 20k a week so may just be out of reach though!

Was disappointed when we did not pick up Bobby Wood a few years ago, was an excellent prospect then.
