Storm Jorge. Man shed

Ripping into my man cave shed just now.

Storm Dennis did the dirty work and took off one side, so am sitting here with pallets and a tent and a bike cover holding off rain and wind on one side, which is one step up from homeless Harry in your high street ..

Wood is rotten, so ripped it away and now a big black hole to fill?

Folk say get a new man shed, but I love this hut.

Painted it inside and out, carpets, lights, heat and so many repairs, I can't let it go.

Plus 700 quid for same sized shed...so guys.

How do repair a shed that is rotting and falling apart in one corner?

And Rangers out of the cup...I cannae take much more captain.

Cheers admin.

Dementia has won with mum in law, so taking down her shed and may use timber.

Sounds awful saying that

Poor woman did not recognise her daughter few hours back, but knows me...the Rangers son in law lol.

I cut her garden so she thinks am the gardener too.

It's tragic. My old nextdoor neighbour had it. Better to get them in care before they hurt themselves. She nearly drunk boiling water from kettle when the nurse asked if she knew how to make a cup of tea. Heartbreaking

Sorry to hear about your mother in law TBBAB.

Dementia is do cruel. My neighbour is in advance stages and in a care home. Absolute gentleman and football mad, it's heartbreaking to visit him.

Hope to hell they save Barry's otherwise Portrush may close down. Enough feckin apartments around

Mum in law is in care mate,, for past two years.

Fell at home and could not remember details and went downhill fast since.

93 now, but left wing and irish republican sharp as a knife until recent years.

From her youth she can recall tales and yet has no clue where she is now, or where her late husband went...he died 2008

Am not being funny, but as a prod who married her daughter, I stick in her mind and we always connect...I get her when family don't, if the makes sense.?

At Christmas, people did not twig she was lost and confused and had no idea where she was as we brought her to sister in laws gaff.

I see her pain and panic at times and it is so bleak, I just want to tell everyone here and elsewhere.....Fook politics
And personality clashes and live your life while you can.

Cheers earl..

Mum in law is Carrick Hill, so I used to wum her with unity flats banter, as they hate that lol

Great wee belfast woman too though and all about family.

Sad to see as she had a sharp mind and I tallest unrulmlast two years of homes and hospital where most are mad.

My mates in Bradley Manor built in the grounds of Holy Cross.. He would love the irony of that.

Will be down your neck of the woods next week when the Blues are in town.
