If I remember rightly he was a good friend of another legend...the great Tommy Smith, another great player sadly passed away...

Condolences to Normans Family, a true legend, a Leeds legend!.

A real shame, though not a Leeds fan, anyone who saw Hunter play couldn’t help but admire his commitment, not only to Leeds but to football in general. I will forever remember him ‘biting’ into tackles and leading by example, the likes of Hunter, Smith, Harris and Mackay would have the premiership pansies of today cringing with fear. I also remember Hunter and Franny Lee being ‘dismissed’, there was nothing sneaky or under hand, or even open to interpretation, just too honest footballers airing their grievances.

Well said, it was honest to goodness football back then, now the Premiership is a circus.

these players played the game they were born into and raised in.

if he couldn't defend and if he couldn't play he wouldn't have made it then. same as souness arguement earlier in week.

They should cap wages these days then maybe players would play more for the clubs in their hearts and not the money!..

Players back in the good days played for their shirt and gave their all, not like the fall over cry baby muppets of today that are lucky if they're able to play 2 games a week!..

Am I glad I saw the likes of Norman and witnessed what the Man's game was when they had to sometimes play more than twice a week!..
