Hull City first champ club to write letter to EFL demanding season is VOIDED

Now call me cynical but there seems to be a pattern emerging here with a few Prem clubs.

Surely its nothing to do with there league position?

Surely not

some people here not realising that teams like mancure and arsesall will have unfair advantages due to the fact they are used to playing in stadiums with no noise so will they even notice no fans there?

<snip>

If we ho up on PPG we would never hear the end of it.

That almost makes me want us to go up on PPG !

They hate us anyway - let's give them some more ammo!

The teams at the top have been the best for 80% of season.

The teams at bottom have been dire for 80% of season.
Tough.

Home advantage hasnt helped for all of seadon so far. If it had they wouldnt be in bottom 3.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You're ignoring the fact games at the bottom can be 6 pointers, they don't expect to bat the teams at the top. That's not to say they can't, but they don't plan to beat the big teams as much as they do their rivals fighting the drop.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I also think it fails to take into account what 20% you have left to play.

You could, theoretically be in a situation where you are 18th 3 point behind 17th, but 17th has to play their remaining games against top half teams whereas you only have to play teams in the bottom half.

Personally I want it finished, because I dont get how points per game can be fair, when all the teams playing arnt on an even playing field

Hope Hull go down now, tigers my rrse. Id rather Leeds played the season out, whether that be successfully or failure in regards to promotion.

I fo also think that while there does have to be a certain level of cooperation with clubs themselves there does need to be also a point where the football leagues realise they are the ones running things and tell the clubs what to do and if they dont or wont then they can have the result as a three nil loss.

Clubs are always going to think in terms of their own self interest, as they should, but there gets a point where you have to say, yes you dont want to do this, but if you dont we move on without you

They were dropping like a stone, & probably on the way to relegation... Like you want to go up, they don't want to go down... This will be a legal nightmare... Can you see the bottom 5 in the Premier league making it easy to restart the season?....

Looking at it purely from a footy-fan point of view:

Voiding the season would be like giving a big middle finger to all who have paid money to watch games this season.

It's like the FA saying; if anything happens we can do whatever we please, and we don't care how much you have invested moneywise (and emotional I might add) this season.

You've paid your money. You've sat there and cheered for every goal, been grumpy for every conceded one, and in the end, for what?

For nothing. All for laughs.

End the season by playing the remaining games. It's the only way.

That's exactly what the FA have already done to the clubs that don't earn them any money, yet weirdly nobody seems to care passionately about that.

Totally agree with your last sentence though.

Funny thing is the season isn't over until the last games have been played, and clubs have signed up to play the league and in doing so have to play the rules!..

If the league don't do things the way they should be done, then football may as well give up!..

This is the players living,(WAGES!)and the clubs future,(LIVES!)they should just get on with what they're contracted to do and shut the feck up!..
