shaqiri is not injured. hes not bothered.

he was bought out of spare cash in a brainfhart by Edward's. same as mini me.

klopp never wanted shaqiri and never played him if he had an option.

we will see if minamino is wanted by klopp soon enough

First of all, i highly doubt Klopp would allow them to buy players for him he didnt want. Second of all i remember Klopp saying 13m was a no brainer for Shaqiri they had to go for him.

Shaqiris been injured a lot and im sure hes said he wants more playing time, so if a club comes in im sure he'll be sold.

Shaqiri was always going to be a risk. Of course he has undoubted quality on the ball but he doesnt do enough off it. I recently watched the Barca game again and he worked very hard. He needs to do that if he wants to stay at the club and that includes in training. He obviously hasn't been doing it enough, hence not playing as often as he would like.

so explain how free opportunities shaqiri got when bothered and then how hes not been bothered for a long time.

the clue is in how the player is purely a right side forward and showed no inclination to be flexible. salah players therefore shaqiri played himself out of the squad.

minamino is widely quoted as a bargain due to release and we can always sell again. that doesn't equate to either wanted or not wanted. it equates to gambling.

when klopp wanted he wanted and we bought for the first team like vvd, alisson, ox, etc.

it's not like the system is broken here I'm just saying the club still gambles.

fabinho is a good example probably of a player that klopp had to be convinced on. so it's not like it's a one man show.

shaqiri has not worked out, he was never likely to but at the time the fee was seen as cheap and cant lose. covid probably means we have lost but the few contributions the guy has made mean it wont be a big deal.

the issue is for.me that we are making do as the front 3 are the front 3 so origi, minamino and shaqiri types means we wont be seeing any big buys even if we had the money.

Its been well known if you ever watch Jurgens press conferences Shaqiris been struggling with calf injuries?

also he came in straight away in the beginning due to was it afcon or injuries? When he got his most playing time for us was always as a back up, he simply doesnt make the first team if alls fit. Hes been injured more than i like but 13m still well spent for that quality of back up imo.

He's shown his ability in glimpses but fitness issues and quality of competition meant he was never going to hold down any place in the side. Think he will be moved on within the next 12 months along with Lallana and Clyne.

when you have a very good starting eleven how do you expect to sign someone of equal caliber to be a back up? why would you want to?
this would just make everyone unhappy. imo shaq has done well besides being injured too much. the barca game would be all i would need to be happy with his contribution.
