Had to leave the game. Can someone explain to me what Chilwell did?

He got doubled up on, so instead of closing Willian down for the cross, he stood and flapped his arms.

How much of a better manager is Lampard than Rodgers? Chalk and cheese. Lampard gets hold of things at half time and makes the right call. Rodgers makes that double change which completely breaks the team

Threw his arms up in the air mid defensive duties basically cos he was frustrated at a team mate. Literally seen it happen loads of times. Wasn’t the reason we conceded as Rio has highlighted. Not great, but absolutely not the end of the world issue KTF is making it out to be

As mentioned above, completely agree Blackstarr from a certain perspective in relation to football. From a humility and integrity perspective - it’s unacceptable.

Perhaps it’s because this is in written form with no intonation, but it seems you think I feel other issues and what Chilwell did have to be independent of each other which definitely isn’t the case. We ball watched on the left, Soyunchu pushed out left too early and Ndidi wasn’t aware of his surroundings

You just seemed to make a massive thing out of it to me, as if he had subbed himself off or something. It was nothing in the grand scheme of things.

I agree with BS, I think if we played Fuchs we would need a class wide left player...which we don’t

I'm a little out of the loop so can someone fill me in - is Blackstarr pro or anti Rodgers?

Ah okay - makes sense if you thought it was huge issue.

Although it’s subjective, I think if Chilwell has concentrated on his role in those seconds he had a decent chance of changing what happened from that cross.

All of this could be worse - we could be Robbie Savage. Jesus.

It's interesting we've concentrated completely on ourselves when it was also the Subs that Lampard made that changed the game, he took the 3 players off he obviously wasn't happy with and they took control of the game.

A lot easier to make the 3 subs in one go when your still allowed 2 more but it was excellent Management from Lampard.

Well it’s the contrast between what Rodgers did and what Lampard did that we’re focusing on. One is a good young manager - the other is a clueless mug who cost us the game
