Wolves v Everton Match Preview

Date: Sunday 12th July
Venue: Molineux
Kick off: 12.00

On Sunday Wolves welcome Everton to Molineux.
Both teams played mid-week, Wolves on Wednesday when they recorded their 2nd loss since the league re-start and Everton on Thursday when they could only manage a 1-1 draw at home against a revitalised Southampton.

Prior to Thursday’s game, Everton had played 4 matches, recording wins against Norwich and Leicester, a draw against Liverpool and a loss to Spurs.

In the reverse fixture back in September Everton grabbed all 3 points in a game that produced 5 goals (final score 3-2).

Everton currently sit in 11th place in the table with 45 points whilst Wolves are hanging on to their 6th place with 52 points

A lot has been made of Wolves’ first three fixtures back and how they were very winnable – and rightly so – but the next three starting with hosting Everton could be even better. Everton have little to play for – no danger of going down, too far away from a European place – so, hopefully, Nuno’s wolfpack will take advantage of that and take all 3 points.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports and free to view on Sky Pick

That Sheffield United result means we need to win tomorrow.

Sheff Utd’s great season continues. Last three home games they have beaten Spurs and Chelsea comfortably and Wolves narrowly

Pressure on tommorow, we often rise to the occasion but it is harder without the fans support to do that

Yes you are so alone there without fans......

You will qualify if Man City win the FA Cup. Presumably it they get booted on Monday. Just finish 6th

Who said anything about being alone? I merely stated in what is a very important game you sometimes need the fans to give the team the boost they need.

I suspect we will end up seventh or eighth

Had a wee once in the bogs at cannock hockey club next to big Jack after he'd done an after dinner speech. And yes he was a big lad. RIP Jack.

Would assume eighth would get a euro spot if City get ejected. Though I wonder what would happen should they go on to win the CL this term. Also if United win the EL then that opens up an extra spot doesn't it?

In short it would take quite an effort for us to blow a euro spot at this stage

I don't think England gets an extra Europa spot if Man U (or wolves) win the Europa.
