No need to panic

Let's move on to the next game. Players need to recover well and give it their all against West Ham and Leicester. We need to stay positive. This young squad will learn and get better. Ole will learn from his mistakes and get better. (DDG won't ).

A few good signings (CB, CM, RW) with Henderson coming back, and we'll be able to push for more next season.

Hopefully, we get 3rd and win Europa League. That would not be the best, but won't be too bad either.

Ole has made positive steps in the right direction up until now.

The summer transfer window will be really important for us. CB/CM/RW is the minimum we need, plus Henderson returning to replace DDG. These 4 additions would really strengthen our team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I've watched the a few Sheffield United games, Henderson didn't look great to me.

Potential yes, but not ready for a big club yet. Needs at least 2 more seasons on loan.

How do you explain to the Ed and the board that you are going to drop the world's best paid goal keeper?

-----

the same way we explained Sanchez

That contract was dumb, who wanted to keep DDG, the board or Ole?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sanchez was a little different as we didn't actually pay a fee for him.

But you have already seen how difficult is has been to try to shift him on. If i was Inter, i'd do the same and try to squeeze out as much loan as possible. Safer that way than buy him outright.

Ole wanted to keep DDG and tried hard to convince him to stay via his former goal keeping coach. It worked in the end, and DDG signed an extension.

Also with Sanchez, he was becoming a negative influence at the club. And was often unhappy to be here.

Some people are so reactionary it’s unreal

Oles doing a great job, starting to look like a decent side but Bruno alone isn’t going to fix everything. Still some work to be done in the transfer market.

He's been better than De Gea though. Not that that would be difficult

Ole has made positive steps in the right direction up until now.

----

£125m on Maguire and AWB are not positive steps.

Not dropping DDG despite him costing us top 4 last season, and looking likely to do it again are not positive steps.

Playing players without rotating and running players in to the ground is not positive.

Sure there are positives, but plenty of negatives.

Lots of work to be done. We're lucky to be anywhere near Top 4 thanks to the Leicester and Chelsea's bottle job.

We've done well since the restart. But the 3 toughest games we had, we looked average (spurs, southampton and chelsea).

Spot on. And 2 more years on loan Lurker? We will lose him. He’s already 23. We have to give him a chance, he has the talent and his pre lockdown form for Sheff Utd was sensational and looked favourite for the golden glove at one point.

He may step his game up being handed the #1 shirt or he may crumble. It’s impossible to predict but one things for sure DDG cannot continue next season playing 55 games a season. Too many mistakes since WC 2018. We have England’s future #1 in waiting with Chelsea sniffing around him. Let’s give him the chance and see what he can do.
