I remember being banged up in Barlinne (or it might’ve been Shotts -cannae remember which one) when SG was appointed. My pad mate - massive Gers fan - was over the moon. Best thing that could’ve happened to Rangers, his PL contacts etc
Told him that the post wast too big and too soon for him. Think I was right 👍

I love how stint in prison merges together. Brooks was here

Never met Brooks sadly - I was hauled down from my one bunk Hilton (Shotts) and cast down with the Sodomites (Barlinnie)

Arfield deliberately jumps so he lands with two feet planted behind the ball. He doesn’t go two footed into the Aberdeen player at all.

Arfield took a bad touch and new the Aberdeen lad was favourite to get there first. He is trying to form a block with his legs so that he has a better chance of coming out of the tackle with the ball.

He didn’t bank on the tackle being so reckless tho.

It did look a bit odd from Arfield but you can see what he was trying to do.

Yes you can see some strange things with blue tinted specs on

I find it quite amazing how these players who fly into tackles have the time to rationalise how it will end up by going through the many permutations and possibilities split seconds before they commit themselves.

They’re in the wrong game really.

I haven’t seen the incident yet, but I’m going to look for it now, cos you’ve made it sound like something out of The Matrix the way Arfield has moved.

The description isn’t even correct

Airfield clearly sees the challenge coming and lands his right foot ahead of the ball and to the right of Considine so that he can hurdle the challenge. If he had landed two feet planted behind the ball it could’ve been a lot worse for him.

Na, Arfield clearly tried to do Considine, but missed.

I haven`t seen the incident of course

Have you ever tried not breaking the law?

I agree with you in that the expectations of the Rangers job rather than the job itself is too big for him in his first management stint

-

Both players clearly tried to do the other.

Considine got their first and was rightly red carded.
