I can't help but feel that this is the kind of story put out there to distract us from the rest of our transfer policy. i.e. There is not interest at all, but if we're spending time thinking about it or any possible replacement goalkeeper then that's time we're not spending studying strengthening areas that we need.

I see the Silva to Monaco deal has fallen through, is there any way back for him at Leicester, I feel like he would suit a Rodgers team?

I doubt it, if I recall correctly did he not struggle somewhat with the pace of the Premier League?

That would seem to imply that United are worried about us sufficiently to take such action - I seriously doubt that is the case.

He got a few games, Tilly has had all season being dire!

Tilly is our best player. He is a regular starter for a Belgium team with a few other decent players in it. I'm sure you watch a different game to the rest of us TB!

If he was our best player we should have been relegated.

Tielemans Is one of our most talented players. There’s no denying he under performed in the second half of the season and only played in bursts in the first.

The question is why?

If it’s attitude or confidence it’s a problem. You can have all the talent in the world and struggle. However, if it’s purely down to the role he’s being asked to play along with people around him not creating the movement needed it’s Rodgers problem.

He’s clearly a top player and for me, Rodgers stifles him to get Maddison further forward. If he continues to do this you’ll never see the best of him, but he can improve with more ahead of him. With Maddison out he’d like up and see nothing. Unsurprisingly, he didn’t play well. Let’s hope Rodgers gets him playing next season.

My point is he's been mediocre to truly awful all season with the odd decent pass forward ( the majority of his forward passes have been atrocious and cut out easily ).

13 through balls and 6 assists isn't good enough for a whole Season from one our most talented players.

Maybe he's been asked to play a different role but he's had ALL Season to adapt.

Silva written off by the Club and fans as not being good enough yet got only a few games.

Seems like he's an embarrassment we and the Club would rather forget than give a decent chance that other players have been given, happens all the time I guess.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Silva in a Rodgers team as he recycled the hall quickly, but he’s clearly not going to get the chance.
