We have been linked to the Lille player obviously through our staff connections but this is a deal I hope we get done.
My main reason for wanting this deal is his style of play. We have rapid forwards. Technically we need a solid right back that can create space and passes for them. Celik fits this bill for me. If you watch some of his previous games for Lille and the 'YouTube' scouts. You'll see he plays with his head up constantly looking for space to play passes into for his forwards.
I think this is key for mourinho because he will prefer the back 4 to keep a solid shape. This means that Celik can still provide attacking options from deep but he also has the pace to get forward.

PSG would never sign Davies. I don't see any teams in Italy wanting to sign Davies either. So the criticism of Aurier should also be levelled at Davies.

He gives people the reason to hate him. Not sure why you think there’s a hidden agenda. If he’s hitting the opposition every time he tries crossing and is making mistakes regularly, then you start to get pi^* off with him.

The few Lille matches I’ve watched he was very good defensively and had a decent cross on him.

I don't think Aurier is as bad as we make out, it's just unfortunate that when he has a brain faaaart in a game he usually has about three more in that game.

No, he really is as bad as we make out. his last 150 crosses has produced a 14% accuracy percentage. In other words 19 of his 150 crosses have gone to our player, the other 131 have hit the opposition. He’s f*** useless, there’s no beating around the bush or feeling sorry for him. He’s s-*** and probably up there among the worse right backs we he have had in the premier league. Utter dog s**.
