I get the fact Hart helps with the homegrown quota & he’s a free transfer. But if it’s true he’s going to be picking up £50,000pw isn’t that wage better suited going towards a contract for a player to improve our starting XI?

Makes good business sense though if you can sell him for £10m and Hart is only on a bit more wage wise. Not sure what the difference in quality between the two is though?

Gazzaniga is better, younger and has affinity already with the club. Hart is now a journey man, whom has failed no matter where he has been. Pointless signing. Exactly the sort of signing we would’ve made in the 90s. Would much prefer a youth player as the 3rd, keep Gazzaniga as the 2nd.

Would not feel comfortable if Lloris got injured for a long period and suddenly Joe Hart ended up between the sticks.

Gazza should be staying.
