Robin Koch has said his goodbyes at Freiburg and will have his medical at Leeds this weekend before joining up with Joachim Low’s Germany squad on Monday. Fee is £13m plus add-ons

By the way Koch is due to sign for us over the weekend and then they play against each other for Germany v Spain next week. What the betting he crocks him....?

International CB proven in Bundesliga, 23 years old for £13m
or 22 year old CB proven only in Championship for one season for £25m?
no brainer!

Feel sorry for Ben White, forced to stay at mighty Brighton and pressured into possibly signing for 4 years!

At £25m White would be a decent buy but they obviously either value him higher or really don’t want to sell him to us.
Coincidence that the same manager was in charge at Swansea during the JameS transfer?
Very happy with Koch though. Right age, decent value and already good enough for the German team.

Koch ‘looks’ a lot like Ben White on YouTube, highly rated so this has been a good window so far.
Phil Hay reckons we’ll get another winger and possibly another CB
