Well he himself said he came very close to leaving last summer to join Aston Villa, so I don't buy that hed stay with us now if a CL giant came calling.

You think we'll struggle, even with the squad we have now, I do not agree. As I said I don't think he'll come, if he does, he does, and we'll be better for having him, but I don't think we're doomed to a season of struggling if he doesn't sign any more than I think we'll be challenging for honours if he does come.

Right now we need another CB and AM for me. De Paul is a quality player. He would help pull us up from the relegation battle.

Gvardiol is a centre-back, but he can also comfortably slot in at left-back, as Bielsa looks for more defensive options.
