Quiet weekend on the football front. Tonight on paper is a walkover for Scotland so I expect a 0-0 draw. Can't wait to get back to actual domestic games. I love watching Scotland but feel tonight is a dead rubber.
Djokovic was a dafty at tennis and Gasly won his first F1 race. That was the highlight of the sporting weekend. Don't get me going on Soccer Aid. It is usually a good spectacle and a decent standard but with no many unable to play due to travel restrictions they should have binned it this.
Trying emotional blackmail to donate saying only 1% of viewers donate. Effectively a telling off. I reckon our charity match Scotland squad would have won that last night.

Norway will murder us should we beat Israel.
Btw, i think we will beat Israel if we have everyone fit next month but Norway will be a step up in class.
Big Ajer and Ely had a stroll in the park last night but Haaland is absolutely world class, that first half finish

I thought we played well when we were 1-0 down but when we got level we reverted to type.
It's like Celtic in Europe, it's a shiedtbag mentallity. 1-0 down, nothing to lose so they take the ball and start to play. 1-1 "oooft, don't want the ball now, we're level" Seen it for flucking years.
A few positives last night, Dykes again playing well and i thought Robertson was much better than he has been and that was helped by having McLean in the side who can see a pass quicker than a lot of our midfielders, albeit he caused a goal.
Marshall was also outstanding, i'd have taken him back in a heartbeat.
Anyway, 1 more night of international football then we can look forward to the games this weekend.

Agree on Marshall. He was clearly getting very frustrated with his 'defenders' on occasion.
Dykes won almost everything in the air. He really goes after those headers 100%.
Said at the time that he would be a good buy for Rangers. They missed out there. He's now a full Scotland international and after those two performances he'd be worth about £30m.

Dykes showed that he can play on grass too so QPR have got a bargain at £1.5 million.
