Get Behind Ole

I am in disbelief at some of the things I am hearing after this weekend. People are attacking United and Ole like they're some kind of despised political figures and I can't get why. Yes it was a bad performance and result by United, but United were clearly not fit.

Is it Ole's fault that his players haven't had a pre-season? It can be no coincidence either that Pogba had his worst game in years just after he's had corona. The reason Palace won is because their team were fully fit. Simple as that.

I ask all football fans to turn back the clock 24 months. Things had gone TOXIC under Jose. Turgid football, awful results and Jose polluting every press conference. Since then, Ole has taken over at United and single-handedly rebuilt the culture of the football club.

In the cold light of day Solksjaer can't be really be questioned much. Compare him to the best manager's (apparently) in the league when it comes to season 1.

Pep: 3rd place, 1 semi final

Klopp: 8th place, no trophies

Ole: 3rd place, 3 semi finals

Not to mention some of the results Ole has had in his tenure too like PSG, City home + away, Chelsea X4 and outplaying Klopp's Liverpool twice last season even though they didn't get the equalizer at Anfield.

When you compare all 3 managers in their first year, clearly Solskjaer has a lot about him as a manager. I'm not going to write that he's clearly going to be world class but he's undoubtedly a very, very good manager at this stage in a project. To take a team to only a few places off winning the league so early says a lot.

It is clear to me that he's a young, hungry manager who also employs innovative tactics at times too. Remember when he nullified the two LFC fullbacks last year? Or when he went to PSG and kept Mbappe quiet? Get behind him! With one or two new signings and some more minutes for his team this season United can push for trophies.

2 years on from Jose and now United have a front 3 who are young, feared in Europe and exciting to watch. Not to mention he's introduced genuine threat and pace from wide areas again, which is a typical feature for any great United side. The message is clear to me: get behind Ole.

We're not winning the league or champions league until we fix the mess that was made post SAF. That isn't going to happen over night.

Sacking Ed Woodward could be done over night.

Cool, so just so we're clear, you wondered why I am drawn to the United board, I demonstrated otherwise. Where do we go from here?

This article is a funny one.

I agree entirely with the main point but disagree with almost everything in the actual article.
