Nothing sanctimonious about it. Football is in the gutter right now with these ridiculous decisions every other game, something far bigger than a rivalry.
As for laughing at other clubs misfortune, I already find it remarkably tedious and this forum is pathetic for it. On occasion something is humourous and worth a nine but things like this today certainly are not.

I’ll save my tears for the likes of Macclesfield, rather than for a club paying a player more money in a week than it would take to save that club.
I’m currently contemplating laughing at Man City, but of course await your approval before doing so...
