It appears this may have slipped under the radar, but worth a read for a good chuckle.
The comments underneath are also a belly-tickle!

It wouldn't work. As an international manager you can't simply go out and buy the best international players to play for your team, so it would be in stark contrast to Wenger's transfer policy. Oh wait.

I got as far as spotting 'That man is Arsene Wenger' and closed the article.
Why on earth would you put forward Wenger, the archetypal CLUB manager, who nurtures young players and builds a sound business around transfers, club conduct and philosophy over the long term, as a NATIONAL manager????
Madness.
Never happen.

Wenger would be a good England youth manager. But with the likes of Milner and Barry to choose from, I don't think he'd succeed.
He might pick some mentally strong players though and kick out the wastes like Lampard

He's far too good for the farcical job they call being England manager.
