Bit of a quite day today, with only Utd to be possibly turned over by a good German side to look forward to tonight. So got me thinking, what are everyone's "I was there moments"
Three for me:
1. Seeing Greavsie in a Spurs shirt scoring the winning goal vs West Ham, when I was about 8. He was some player.
2. Actually being behind the goal when Tony Parkes saved "that penalty" vs Anderlecht in the then Uefa Cup. Magical night. Finally left the ground about an hour or so later.
3. Seeing a special player emerge when Bale slaughtered Maicon, His running and pace was breathtaking.

Wow op, I thought you were about 15 years old. Based on all your ‘it’s not fair’ articles....

I was there when Alan Ball trapped the ball with his bum, sat on it and pretended to tie his laces in a Derby game at Goodison and still had time to pass the ball and salute The Gladys St. End. Magical!!

I was in the away end at Old Trafford for the Mendes ghost goal and bang in line with it! Went crazy about that!
Was in the Chelsea end when we won the League Cup - went crazy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Saw Berba dominate City at The Ethiad when Zokora got sent off in first 5mins and Jol had to take off Defoe. Berba played on his own and was unreal - kept the ball all night.
Kanoute bendy goal at City away - right behind the goal. Went crazy.

If you want to keep this Spurs related, I was there when Edman put it in the top corner from all of 35 yards against us at Anfield.
If you're happy for this to be opened up further, I was there when Beardsley got a hatrick against united back around 1990 and was there when Michael Owen made his debut as a 17 year old scoring away at Wimbledon.

I was there Liverpool edition:
I was there when Chelsea beat them in the League Cup final at the Millennium Stadium. They were recording fan volume that day for Guinness World Record or something or other. Anyway, Liverpool's cheer for their goal won it, don't know if the record still stands.
Chelsea had no chance of winning it - so many free seats in their section / half...hence how I got in for a tenner off a tout while my mate was in the Pool end (Pool fan, having paid £300).
I was in the Kop when Mellor hit that screamer vs Arsenal.
I was in the Anfield Road end when an on-fire Drogba helped Chelsea beat Pool 4-0 I think. He was a beast on his day and this was one of them.

I was there when Sol Campbell came back to WHL for Arsenal - haven't experienced an atmosphere as hostile as that. Was on the news at 10 with a big Judas flag above my headas they covered his return as the coach got bricked.
I was there (3 rows behind) the guy who ran on to the pitch to take a swing and a miss at fat Frank.

That was probably Don

That 6 1 has gone to your heads. If that game was played again this weekend I'd fancy us tbh. We were a good 2 to 3 games behind you in fitness and got a man sent off to boot.

Behave, you were absolute dross against Chelsea at the weekend, a team Spurs reserves have also beaten.
European teams, other than Bayern are absolute pony now.
