What does that mean?

The zombies event is meant to take over the map so they nuke it to start a new one

Where did you read this?

Some of the YouTubers were repeating those rumours

Thoughts on new map and the demolition event?

Disappointed last night, at the very least expected to see the nuke in game and not a cut scene

I really was hoping that the next proper zombie map would drop with the release of season 3.

but alas it was not to be.

New maps are quite cool, i was hoping summit would make a return as it was always one of my favourite maps and Yamantau is a good interpretation of it.

ive not logged onto the warzone event since they nuked the map, will be interested to see what it holds although i doubt ill spend much time playing that aspect of the game

It's actually quite decent. Far more colourful and vibrant than before which makes it altogether a nicer experience in my opinion.

Resurgence in Verdansk is a nice touch too, I'll stick to rebirth predominantly as that's the best game mode they've done but I have enjoyed mixing it up a bit.

There’s a few nice little changes like lighting everywhere to stop Roze skin, or more areas of the map where fighting is viable
