I don't seem to remember clubs voting on whether the season should be null and void last season, so the 42 member clubs didn't actually get to vote on whether that was how the season was to be curtailed
What I seem to remember, was a resolution flung together by the SPFL, thrown out to clubs and the message basically rammed down their throats, by the SPFL, that if they didn't vote for this resolution, that they clearly wanted, they wouldn't get their prize money
So aye....your right that you don't get a vote ya khunt....but you basically decide what gets put out to the club's to vote on don't you
It's like Boris Johnson saying he wouldn't get a vote on Scottish Independence....when he's the very man that would have to permit such a vote to happen in the first fcking place

It can’t be too far away from house arrest with the only exception to be a timed visit to a supermarket of the governments choosing.
I’m sure I exaggerate but we’ve never come closer to such a dictatorial regime in our history.

What skeleton staff we had is now halved.
Cue hasty purchase of laptops, earpieces and other associated IT equipment.
All seems to be running smoothly mind and hopefully it’s only for maybe another 2 months.
The major issue will be getting the mainstream of staff back into a working office when it’s safe to do so. Many have become used to getting up, switching on a laptop, making breakfast, sorting the kids out, making lunch, sorting the kids out, making dinner, sorting the kids out.
And doing only what is necessary.
Something will give.

More to the point, the sensitive nature of the documents they take puts me off WFO.
I wouldn't be sending bank statements and wageslips to someone who's sitting in the house with their family.
I'll be fvcked if I'm buying them all laptops too.

I want to have something installed that measures output but I’m pretty certain we’d fall foul of some kind of privacy law. We don’t allow access to many sites on equipment nor the addition of any apps.
Since blue wafflegate I’m the only exception.
I trust many staff to get on with their workload but there’s always one or two you question as to how much they are putting into work.
There must be something out there we can use.

Quite right too, Lex. Went for an interview when I was young and bumped into guys I was at uni with. We've got to hurry we only get 13minutes break. Then the cants started showing me circuit diagrams asking what they were and didn't like the answers that showed up their lack of prep. Couldn't help myself

Common sense should apply
The trip to Dubai was ill advised at best, but as you say, unanimously, it was a stupid idea
Given the number of headaches that COVID has gave the SPFL in the past year, are you honestly trying to tell me, that if Doncaster thought the trip to Dubai could have repurcussions for the Premiership, in his position as the top man at the SPFL, he did the right thing by not intervening and just letting it happen, then having to deal with the fallout?

And the reason why Dubai was brought up was for the same reasons that I'm having a go about the null and void thing....the trip to Dubai was disastrous for Celtic and detrimental to the league, Doncaster done absolutely fck all and voided himself of all responsibility
To declare the season null and void would be detrimental to the league, Doncaster knows this, but yet again, instead of putting the point across the null and void would probably be the worst option for the league, he's playing dumb as fck again
Yet, if/when the time comes, he will be hell bent on trying to get a particular outcome and trying to influence the decision as much as he can.

How do you know that Doncaster didn’t try and get the trip to Dubai stopped? When Celtic went to Dubai, it was approved through government channels, and their infection rate was lower than ours! We’ve had Celtic and rangers compete in European games this season-what about those games?
I don’t know how Celtic’s trip has been detrimental to the rest of the league-outside of Celtic, I think everyone else is quite happy about it.
As for most of the rest of it-you’re just getting your panties in a twist for no reason. The season will finish, and it’s not going to get to any other point.
The position just now is that if the league is stopped, then everything is on the table-that’s the natural starting position. You start with all options and then whittle them down.
There’s plenty of other reasons to get annoyed and lambast him about than the things you’ve decided to have a go about.
