Partey was immense what a player also Cedric looks better than AMN and Bellerin I will definitely start him over both.

If he'll perform like that consistently then yeah. Though I'd pick him instead of AMN because AMN should be in MF, rather than over AMN becuase he's better. Cedric has enough about him that you can forgive the pace difference when it's him and Bellerin. Where AMN is a far better player than Bellerin but just as quick.

OP I thought Partey looked awfully Paddy as well today.

Not the time to bash players but I would not be upset if we got 20 mill for AMN and 20 mill for Nketiah. Nketiah I feel is dross...AMN seems to be very inconsistent. He wants to play in CM...but I don't think he has the concentration levels for it

Cedric is decent. Always been a solid player but still seemed like a weird signing, especially the way it happened. Don't at all mind seeing him in the starting lineup.

It did come from the blue but it only seems weird because Arteta hasn't moved AMN. I actually thought that's one of the reasons we done that deal, to get a cover RB to free the player for MF.

Glad we've got him though, I'd happily start him ahead of Bellerin since he's a proper defender. I still can't work out if he is actually that slow. Or if he just looks that way because Bellerin and AMN are both lightning

What game did you watch? Luiz played.

It really stands out how some of our players were just passing to Partey and waiting for him to do something. I haven't seen that kind of reliance since Cesc.

Cesc, what a magnificent player. Possibly won’t see someone that good at what he did in an Arsenal shirt for a few more years/decades. Hopefully Partey can be at least half as influential as Cesc was.

If we got 20 million for Nketiah I would be doing cartwheels, but I don’t want to sell AMN, I’m hoping he can understudy to Partey and in a packed season we should play him there when Partey is rested or injured. AMN should also be given the chance to compete with Xhaka and Ceballos for the second place in midfield. We’ve seen that any combination of Xhaka/Ceballos/Elneny is not mobile or robust enough against quality opposition.

I agree. As a kid, he was everything I loved in football. I was utterly, utterly heartbroken when he left. Football was never the same again, for me.

Yup, Cesc was the pivot for the whole side, some of his performances were extraordinary - it was a joy to sit in the North Bank and see him do his stuff.

I don't think we have ever replaced his genius and I don't think he was the same player at other clubs when he left - still very good but at Arsenal he was off the charts good...

The inconsistency at the moment is more about not playing and being fuming about it. Which he has every right to be. Arteta's making the wrong call here and for the wrong reasons too. Personally I don't want AMN sold. But if Arteta won't give him the CM shot he's after, he should leave for his own good. No point wasting his career for Arteta.

If he's sold then it'd better be for a feck of alot more than 20 mil. the 30 we briefly listed him for in the summer was shocking enough. Just market rate factored, we sold Alex Iwobi (whom AMN is substantially better than) for 40 mil. So 20 for AMN is bordering madness and guaranteed to leave the club looking galactically stupid when he's sold on a couple of years after and the team we sold him to are laughing all the way to the bank.
