May 2nd in 2016 will live long in my memory and most City fans & supporters as the day when Leicester City were confirmed as Premier League Champions.
As we will all remember, Eden Hazard's equaliser for Chelsea against Spurs (where are they now?) meant that no-one could catch City and the City & County went wild with celebrations, not least at Jamie Vardy's house!
Then the wonderful day at the King Power when Andrea Bocelli, clad in a Foxes shirt entertained us with Nessun Dorma, followed by Captain Wes lifting the trophy.
Finally, the Victory Parade through the City, followed by the "party" on Viccy Park on a warm & sunny May evening.
All treasured memories and, maybe another to add??
Wembley glory with City's first FA Cup Final win at the 5th attempt?

Nothing fairy tale about that, just greedy clubs who dominated the league year in and out, were outshone by Spurs and got together to ensure Spurs didn't win it...It didn't matter who else won it...Just under the pretext of fairy tales

morespurs wake up ,spurs are not a top club. your not in london a big club .2 are bigger, your not a big club in north london arsenal are. when you last won the top division i watched it on my mum and dads black and white tv .there was no colour.chubby checker was no 1 with lets twist again.coranation street was not on the telly.champion the wonder horse was the best you could watch .in london if you wanted a taxi you had to go to a public phone box put money in after pressing button a and when it was answered push button b then a horse and cart would turn up.

It really was just mental to be honest. The stars were aligned for Leicester all season. It reminded me of our CL run in 2005 where there were loads of moments where you just knew our name was on that trophy.
I didn’t think we’d see a small club (no offence intended, but you are in terms of stature and budget) ever manage it purely because of the number of games in a season but it happened. Amazing story.
Club has managed to kick on since as well and still punching well above its weight, so fair play to Leicester.

I know there are some of our fans that wish we'd won it on the pitch, instead of it being won courtesy of a Chelsea draw with Spurs.
However, I wouldn't have changed that day at the King Power for anything; knowing we'd won it, would lift the trophy whatever and could just enjoy the day and everything it was. There happened to be a football match in the middle of it. It almost felt like a formality rather than the event itself. It was particularly helpful that football match was against a team that were effectively already on the beach and even the opposition fans didn't care that much about the situation for themselves. I recall some Everton fans gave up their tickets to Leicester fans so they could be in the stadium to witness it all. That's always stuck with me as a great gesture, even if their team was mid-table, with a doomed manager and nothing to play for.
It was a great day to be a part of.

Let’s be honest Dunge, with our history however we won it would feel immensely special.
I look back with great pride at the way the city came out to celebrate together that night even though there was no game. People young and old, from all different cultures brought together by the event. It was beautiful to watch.
Then to turn up to the game and basically just have one big party also special.
Now could an in game moment of realisation that we’d don’t it too that? Maybe, but I’ll save that one for Claridge’s Wembley winner and enjoy this for what it is, our greatest moment in our history!

We won’t have a day like the Everton game ever again, it was such a special day, such a high it took me a long time to get over the days not being that good the next season
