Proof that good guys can be good football managers at the top levels. Whatever happens in the last few games it has been a good season and looks good for the future. There aren't many other clubs that can say that.
Good buys, good young players excelling. Thumbs up from me for Ole - and a nod to the owners for finally appearing to understand what it's all about.

Great news, frees up the budget for a CB, CM and RW.

I don't think Ole gets enough credit for it, but he's shown himself to be a good man-manager. Under many other managers, I think Cavani wouldn't have gone on this good run and also would not have signed an extension. Earlier in the season I was convinced Cavani would either go to Spain or to South America after his 1 year deal expired.

Very true, he seemingly handled the Pogba unrest very well too.

What unrest?

Bruno’s first full season as a United player: 27 goals + 17 assists

Frank Lampard’s best ever season: 27 goals + 18 assists.

Penalties:

Bruno: 9
Lampard: 10

Scholes v Gerrard v Lampard.... v Bruno?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And Bruno’s season isn’t over yet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
misleading stat

Lampard got 10 penalties total. Bruno has 9 in the league. yet has another 4 in Europe. so its really 13 vs 10 but I saw how someone manipulated this earlier to suit an agenda.

Paul Merson on Cavani, October 2020:

"This is all for now. There is no future in it," Merson said. "Cavani is 33 years of age. You've got Mason Greenwood there, who is going to be a proper player. Is this going to hold him back?

"You've got to have pace. Man Utd play in a certain way, they try to counter attack with the pace of (Anthony) Martial, Greenwood, (Marcus) Rashford, even (Dan) James when he is in the team.

"Now all of a sudden Cavani is in the team, he'll hold the ball up but for me it's a panic (signing)

Paul Merson on Cavani, May 2021:

"We know what a top player Edinson Cavani is.

"When he came to England, he'd played for Paris Saint-Germain and played at the top level for a number of years. Also, he's a top Uruguay international who has done well for his country at World Cups.

"He's a proper player and a warrior as well. He'd run through a brick wall for you, that's what he does and what he's all about.

"I can't talk highly enough of him.

10,000 fans allowed inside OT from May 17th.

Can't wait for the home crowd to show Cavani what it's all about playing in MUFC shirt.

Gonna be weird hearing 10,000 fans. A. It’s been so long without fans and b. I can’t say I’ve heard 10,000 fans as opposed to 40,50,70,000.
