Tonight's XI

Time to put the pressure on Pep tonight with all 3 points. What I think could really unsettle nerves at The Etihad is if we (as expected) field a weaker looking team but manage to get all 3 points. In terms of Leicester I don't think we could possibly play them at a better time, with their cup final this weekend I think they'll rest a few so time to exploit that. Just on Leicester for a moment, I can't see why a few of our fans on here are bricking it about them, Rodgers and Leicester are hopeless at Old Trafford so I just don't get it.

One thing I would love for after the game is if Ole comes out firing shots at City and really playing mind games with Pep. People have been saying for about 4 weeks now that City are champions but they aren't. Who knows? Will City simply forget to win the title they've prematurely been crowned with, allowing us to nip in and steal it?

3 points tonight and the dream becomes more of a reality.

City spent big that summer with dirty (recurring theme) Thai money and were heavily tipped for UCL.

They spent £30m and Shinawatra then pulled the plug on the money, leaving assets to be sold and then the club transformed when Mansour took over.

As I say, a completely different era that has no comparison whatsoever. City "heavily" spent in that summer to ensure they weren't at the wrong end of the table again, not to jump into the top 4.
