OTW LCFC Prediction League - Round 42

WHAT. A. DAY.
Still pinching myself after the most thrilling final I can remember. It's different when it's your team playing. And what scenes at the end! How impressive was it that everybody celebrated with the team on the pitch, especially our wonderful Mr Chairman. What must that have meant for him? Incredible. Other clubs take note.

Apart from that amazing performance, there was another to report. None other than our very own Lone Groover doing a Tielemans and wiping the floor with the rest of us; well done LG.

Before I get into the details and the penultimate round of fixtures let me give advance warning that I am going to keep the fun going in the first part of the summer with the Euros. Although in the first section of the tournament there are games every day, they split quite nicely into three groups of 12, after which it eases off time-wise with the knock out rounds. I also want to try a slight change to the scoring mechanism by awarding 3 points for the correct result, rather than just the one, with the usual 3 points per side for correct number of goals scored. More on that when we've finished this present season.

I hope you'll all have a go, plus any more of us who become aware of it. Good news is that Yankari Fox has emerged on Dubs match thread and he'll be back in contention next season, with hopefully Mersey, Texas and a couple of others who have missed all the fun this season. I'll take a view as well as to whether you prefer the new format or would rather stick with the old one.
