Prizes will be: 1st, £150, 2nd £100 and 3rd £50
Plus ten monthly £10 prizes for highest monthly total.
£60 prize allocated for a Head to Head Knock Out game between all fans entered in the game.
£20 prize for highest points scorer from the SIX Season Long Predictions

All prizes paid out at end of the season.

Note that for the purposes of main game prizes that Admin1 (who likes to participate) will be assumed to be "not there" in the final positions for prizes. If Admin 1 wins a monthly games the prize will be carried over to the next month.

All players entering the game accept the full rules below.

1. Entries accepted only from JA606 users and only 1 account entry per user ID number. JA606 forbids multi accounting.
Team name used for the game will be constant throughout the game and it helps identification if a shortened version of the users name is used (Max 12 characters inc spaces) User ID number will be constant for all teams. Team name cannot start with a number.
I reserve the right to amend names for ease of identity.

2. LATE ENTRIES to STARTING. Subject to AVAILABLE space in the game, new players can start participating at any time up to the start of Week 4, but will start at the bottom of the table 5 points behind lowest score. (not less than zero)
SEASON PREDS; Late entries will be subject to a 20% deduction of bonus points for each full SET missed

3. The season will be split into approx 40 weeks/sets of between 14 and 20 fixtures.
Some weeks will have a set of MID WEEK that will only be used for larger numbers of top flight fixtures. Normal SETS may be extended up to 20 fixtures to include some following mid week fixtures. This will avoid too many MID WEEK SETS which tend to cause missed entries.
Fixtures/Dates will be listed in the Fixtures thread.

4. The following competitions will be included for prediction purposes :
Premier League, Championship, FA Cup, League Cup (from 3rd Rnd), Champions League and Europa League with UK teams.
Other full International competitions may be included using UK teams and others of interest.

5. Each SETS will have between 14 and 20 fixtures that could include some following mid week fixtures of major interest.

Any game brought forward out before the normal SET start time period will be void. Postponed matches will still count if played before next SET of fixtures start.

Fixtures will be published 1 or 2 weeks in advance to give everyone plenty of time to decide and make their predictions. Some holiday period fixtures may be published well in advance.
Fixtures are always on the SAME thread and it is your responsibility to find the thread which will always be noted in your own "My Members Page" section. The thread is normally ALWAYS shown in the right hand panel on JA606 "Popular this Month"

All games are scored at 90 MINUTES play. Abandoned games will be void.


6. SCORING:
Exact score: 10 points
Correct result and correct margin: 5 points
Correct result: 3 points
Incorrect result: No score

DOUBLE POINTS GAMES
TWO games per normal SET will be FEATURED GAMES for double bonus points. Extended set up to 20 fixtures could have 3 featured games.
Some stand alone MID WEEK SETS could have 1 or 2 FEATURED GAMES.

**NOTE: Any claim of incorrect points total must repeat the predictions claimed along with the score points for each prediction.

7. in addition to the main game there will be a monthly/4 weekly results table for most prediction points in the 4 week period with the following bonus points :

Top: +20 points
2nd to 5th: +10 points
6th to 10th: +5 points
Tied teams for score/positions will share bonus points for those positions (rounded up to whole number).
The final monthly game could be more than 4 weeks

8. Monthly game winners get £10 prize.

SEASON PREDICTIONS.
In addition the normal predictions players will make some SEASON long predictions that will gain bonus points as noted at time of entry.
NO POINTS PENALTIES given by PL or FL will be used for the purpose of this part of the game.
To qualify for the £20 prize players must still be playing in the main KOP game at the end of the season.

9. IMPORTANT - If any participant's account is placed under moderation for ANY reason (however unjust) your entry to the competition is forfeited as are all points/prizes accrued. Prizes, if any, will pass to the next placed finisher.

10. In the event that 2 or more people are tied in the top 3 prizes, prizes will be shared equally.
ALL Prizes are either amazon.com or amazon.co.uk vouchers.

11. Finally, any dispute not settled by the above rules will be decided by Admin.

Rules for ENTRY of PREDICTIONS and SCORING

1. Entries must use the CODES used for each match and must be in the correct order and format allowed and must be accurate to allow for a simple Copy/Paste collection. The Spreadsheet scores game automatically so accuracy is the fans responsibility.

2. *IMPORTANT* >>>> Predictions must be for the ** FULL ** set of FIXTURES.
Early Kick Offs are frequent these days so watch out for them. Fans missing earlier fixtures can still enter any remaining games in that SET in full.

3. NO CHANGES to entered predictions will be allowed after the start of the SET (Kick Offs) so make sure before entering scores. Kick Off times are important so be in good time for your entry. I always use the last predictions entered in the event of repeat entry.
Obvious typo errors can be corrected.

4. If due to technical failure, of JA606 site (confirmed by Admin) during the last 24hrs of normal entries, and some players miss their entry I will use the "average" score for that SET instead of using the forget rule.

5. FORGETTING TO ENTER: If you miss/forget any set of predictions after starting you will be allowed ONE "F card" score which will be the "average" score for that set of ALL players including zero non entry scores (rounded down). Any further missed full sets or part set entry sets will score the LOWEST score for that set. After 3 missed sets ZERO is scored.

6.Note that 3 consecutive missed weeks/sets will assume that the team voluntarily withdraws from the game. Teams can rejoin after a review and indication that they would like to continue..

£60 prizes allocated for the 3 part game (Amazon Vouchers)
This will be run in two parts an AUTUMN H2HKO (£20) and a SPRING H2HKO (£20) with the final 2 from each taking part in an end of season playoff (£20)
If any fan manages to get 2 places in the Season Playoff by being successful in both H2HKO they will get an automatic place in the FINAL while other teams will play off.

RULES: Head to Head KNOCK OUT.
This game is part of the main game, which continues for all players to the end of the season and does not mean being knocked out of the main game.
2 weeks notice will be given about the start date.

Entry will be for those game players who have entered normal KOP predictions on ANY of the previous 3 FULL SETS prior to the start of Knock Out

Knock Out rounds will be played every second week to allow for replays of any tied matches

4 Bonus points awarded for every tie won in the KO. (apart from final tie)
Bonus points are not included in the weekly prediction points or Monthly Game points but noted in the BONUS POINT column and added to the main game totals

THE DRAW
To make the DRAW for each round as easy as possible match ties will be drawn AUTOMATICALLY.
This eliminates any need for an actual physical draw.
To clarify the method of the draw for each round.

Qualifying Round.
In order to reduce the field to a KO format (32 or 64 teams etc) at the start a qualifying round will be played using teams from the lower positions in the points table, as in a seeded KO competition, using those teams who have entered normal predictions within the last 3 weekend sets.
If a team fails to submit predictions the other team will be given a bye without any bonus points.
If both teams in any tie fail to enter then the highest losing score(s) from other ties will go through in place without any bonus points
A playoff, if needed, will be played between tied teams on the following set of fixtures.

AUTOMATIC DRAW: The Top team in any KO game round will play the Bottom team left in KO round, using the previous weekend SETS points table prior to the actual knock out round to be played. (Tied positions decided alphabetically)
The 2nd team left in KO round down the table will then play the 2nd from bottom of those teams still left in the game and so on till all ties are decided.

Failure to submit an entry in a tie up to the main 3pm Kick Offs,will result in that teams place being taken by a "reserve" taken from the highest losers from the previous round and replaced in order down the draw. Reserve teams will be identified before Kick Offs in order of preference. (usually 3pm main group) This means there will always be a "match".
If the selected chosen reserve teams had the same score in the previous round, then their previous weekends score to the next KO round will be used to decide who goes through as reserve.

Match Scores Tied
A tied result will be decided by using the next set of weekend and/or midweek sets predictions (as replays). Teams going through from a replay get the bonus points even if opponent does not enter. If both replay teams do not enter then the highest losing scorer for the other ties will go through without bonus.
If further replay tie available then they will use the teams weekend set score from the previous weekend before the actual KO round to decide the result.

In the event of a "no result" tie due to BOTH missed entries, the HIGHEST losing total (from the other ties) will pass through to next round without bonus. ( if 2 or more tie then the following weekend SET's points will be used to decide)

The "forget" rule does not apply to KO matches but will be used as normal in the main game.

Finally, any dispute not settled by the above KO rules will be decided by Admin.
