He was one of the few comedians that could genuinely pull off cynical humour. RIP.

Yeah i thought he nailed that in a way few others can, like Jack Dee is similar but I didnt enjoy his style vs the way Sean did it

One of the funnier comedians that got away with his dark humour on prime time TV. Had a beer with him after a gig in Sheffield and he seemed like a top bloke

He wouldn’t have liked all the mopey stuff so….


Sean Lock’s humour was a lot like a child with cancer…

It never gets old.

I think what he has going for him, which few other comedians can say, is 20+ years of excellence without controversy. RIP

Shocking news as I had no idea he was ill or had cancer.

Funny bloke and have enjoyed watching him in many shows, even as far back as the sitcom 15 Storeys High.

First time I watched Carrot in a Box I was crying with laughter. Undisputed champion of Carrot in a Box. Seal clubbing & rectuum of the year another few of my favourite bits!

His voice had been off for a few years so it seemed like his was ill for a while, really awful news to hear.

At least we know what he wants his obituary to say.
