Looks almost certain now that Zozo is leaving, Kurt has been a long serving pro and good luck to him in the future for the irons. Just not against us ok!.
On the incoming front it looks like Kounde deal is agreed-sweet if that actually goes through, a world class defender with goals in his locker, but in my opinion even better is that it sounds like we have an agreement in place with Atletico for Saul Niguez loan with buy next season which is incredible this guy gives us an option maybe from the bench of long distance goals, something weve been missing since Frank is a midfielder with goals as Kante Kova and jorgi arent very reliable on that front leaving that job to lay with Mason Mount who is still very young. Exciting days at the bridge for now

Saul is a right cheeky bit of business. I can't believe he's only 26 y/o, feels like him & Koke have been at Atletico forever
Considering the state of the midfield in 2017, potentially having Kovacic be the weakest CM is quite an improvement in four years.

I have absolutely no idea who Saul Niguez is but Kounde is class. I'd love to see him at Chelsea.

Two points to make,
for the last couple of years,Saul has been very low key and hasn't been 1st choice for a lot of the time,seems to have lost his urgency a bit,lets hope he can rediscover his appetite.
Secondly, i'm not so sure that Kounde is that much of an improvement on Zouma to be honest,just from what I've seen,again I hope that I'm wrong.

....but again,as you say, our midfielders are not the most prolific scorers,Kova, Jorghi and N'Golo really should try and improve in that respect.

I think they’re both looking like excellent signings that makes our squad start looking like a ‘super squad’ not far off likes of City, PSG, Bayern tbh. On paper if we get them done I think it’s probably one of the best transfer Windows for any PL team in recent seasons
