Don’t care who this article upsets. They’re not the side they used to be and VVD is absolutely nowhere near the defender he used to be either. I watched the game in a sports bar called Fulballarium near the Camp Nou, great place btw, and I can’t believe how weak Liverpool looked. VVD was atrocious and Henderson was abysmal. One area Klopp keeps failing to address is their high back line, as I’ve seen VVD caught out by that about 6 times already this year. He simply doesn’t have the legs to get back at decent pace anymore and I expect us to exploit him Sunday.
