We’ll never know what goes on behind the scenes but I can’t see him demanding that but he’s deffo earn’t the right for the club to break the wage structure I reckon

not saying he isnt but if he wanted to stay badly im sure he can stay on the same wage as top earner. they already offered hendo and vvd 5 years who are older?

i mean he'd get 300-400k + elsewhere tbf to him. but if they are apart no doubt its down to this.

A team like Liverpool simply have to find 21 mill a season if that's the case. He is one if the world's finest players and could earn at least that elsewhere for that exact reason. U have to pay the best performers better to reward exceptional performance.

Any other player in the squad wants that wage they know the criteria. It's a big carrot but one a team that size has to be able to afford in modern football at the highest level.
