As sad as it sounds...when you start paying players over 100k a week, Nuno's situation has further shown me that the modern player on large wages will never respect a coach that has not won anything.
Even Jose struggled but I believe that's also to do with his style of play. So in conclusion if we are to get this right for a club our stature we need a coach that
1. Internationally respected on and off pitch
2. History of silverware and titles
3. Aggressive and animated pitch side and in training
4. Demands work rate with tactics
5. Also knows how to use a 2 striker formation as a plan B

The club just needs to get its priorities right and buy another striker. Without any squad depth in that area we aren't going to get very far regardless of manager. Not just strikers either, just players that know where the back of the net is. We simply do not have enough of them in the squad.

Our best results came at the start of the season when Kane didn't play. Son leading the line with Bergwijn and Moura either side. Counter attacking football. Nuno also got a tune out of Dele.
I really don't care about fancy free flowing attacking football. I want results and the team to play as one.
Look how much we have dominated possession in the last two games. Both West Ham and Utd sat back and hit us on the counter and it worked a treat.
That's how we beat Man City, Watford and Wolves. Yes we were lucky against Wolves but so were West Ham when they played us.
The problem is our entitled fans wants this free flowing football but our squad is not built for it. Nuno has kind of fallen into trap of trying to appease the fans and now we are exposed to the old Tottenham soft center crumbling defence.
If I was Nuno I would drop Kane, play with pace up top in Son, Moura and Bergwijn and a bunch of grinders behind them. Make us hard to beat. That's what Ole did yday after getting whooped by Liverpool.
Feck what the majority of fans want and get results.
You will always get moaners one way or another. If we play attacking football we will concede and the bed wetters will say " we cannot defend".

Also Skipp and Hojbjerg went hiding...very seldom gave our full backs a lateral pass option or even a forward one. Our players seem to have no concept of moving into space to receive the ball. They hide behind opposition markers and pretend they doing something.

We fell for their traps and against Man Utd they picked us off. West Ham played for a point and had Kane not fell asleep when marking Antonio we would have got a point too.
Like I said, Nuno tried to appease the fans but he is not capable anyway of playing attractive football. He should have stuck with the same fornula in the first three games. Bring Kane back into the team is his downfall.

Agreed, I even think he should have stuck to 343 or 352. Romero would excel in both formations. Son Lucas and Kane or Ndombele could be front 3 in a 343
