Finding Jack Charlton

This is a well produced program by the BBC and is still on the BBC iplayer. It looks at Jack Charlton’s life but the main focus is his time as manager of the ROI. Very sad to see him pass away last year and his dementia was captured sensitively in the program.

Recommend it if you’ve not seen it 👍

Older bro not great just diagnosed 'advanced & aggressive' dementia.

Family meetings etc to ma shame missed a couple being away.

Along wi my Da he got me addicted to outdoor Scotland in my teens.

Will watch it with more context as a result.

We pass like ships in the night now, young team.♥️

Quite a few friends losing mums and dads and family now, as I enter year 57 on planet earth, so we just have to plough on.

It is weird how we view time, but 16 years ago this week I had a bad motorbike crash, even missed George Best funeral, and then i thought..those years flew and in 16 years, I will be the same age as Walter Smith, RIP.
