Yorkshire racism

Haven't Yorkshire CC always been insular? Was it not their policy that to play for Yorkshire you had to be a Yorkie? I like that concept and would like to see it applied throughout county cricket. I was born in Kent and would have been proud to play for them. To play for any of the other counties where I have lived would just have been "a job". The overseas players now have good structures in their own countries and should possibly concentrate on helping develop their own.
I realise this opinion is not PC but that is something that gets twisted and turned by anybody who has a grievance and maybe is just not as good as they, or their agent, think they are

Sorry, that was mean. You're clearly struggling with reality. I hope that you get the help that you need.

Yes really. Justify your opinion.

It’s pretty obvious really. When the Yorkshire racism story first broke I was full of sympathy for him, but now having read that he’s not averse to mocking other races himself, I don’t feel quite so sorry for him.

He’s basically opened himself up to being accused of racism himself.

So you don't have to be pretty squeaky clean to make claims of racially abused. You're just incapable of separating two separate incidents and judging them on their own merits.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I see you struggle with context. I didn’t say he couldn’t make claims of racism against him, my point is that he left himself open to accusations of racism himself. And of course the two incidents are going to be linked, that’s how it goes. People like you who want them separated are just making their own narrative up.

Lol. You're making the narrative. You said

if you’re making claims of being racially abused yourself and how badly it’s affected you, then you need to be pretty squeaky clean yourself
---

You don't need at all. Your bias doesn't define anyone else's reality and it certainly isn't 'right'.

It's perfectly reasonable to be able to hold two different opinions on two different incidents, possibly even conflicting opinions. This kind of black and white thinking you're doing is erroneous and particularly unhelpful in complicated issues like this.

What's luck got to do with it...I've called you out on a ridiculous statement about people growing up about racism and the BBC's shoddy practice... And you have nothing... pathetic

Like my 10 pints of beer comment, pretty obvious in the context of the thread.

I once remember going to wat the Tour of Britain cycling race on the Lancashire Yorkshire border. As I was waiting this big lummocks came over the hill from the Yorkshire direction asking if there were any burger vans around for his wife. He had in his hand a burger.
