Congratulations Lewis Hamilton for winning!

Now it is up to the people appealing and court to get the correct decision. Never seen such a clear-cut decision not made. It is black and white the rules and Masi who doesn't know them shouldn't be allowed to be in charge when he doesn't know the rules.

It is funny they wanted the last lap raced to let them race when it was an unfair fight and Mercedes decision not to pit must have been based on the rules. Then not only that they allow Verstappen to overtake the backmarkers while Sainz can't shows they should end the season on the last lap we had under safety car for a fair championship.

The rules shouldn't be based on title contenders and nowhere does it state that.

Max knew exactly what he was doing in Brazil, but got away with it…surprisingly

On the other hand, Hamilton knew exactly what he was doing at Silverstone….but got a race win out of it

That’s the only thing that irks me

If Max had tried anything like that what happened at Silverstone, at a very high speed corner where there was no run off area and only a gravel trap…..I can’t even begin to imagine the lambasting that he would have taken for it.

Verstappen may push the limits of what is acceptable in terms of defending his place and overtaking manoeuvres….but this season, he always done it in areas where there was a run off area, or at a greaty reduced speed chicane like in Monza

For all the “dirty tricks” he is supposed to have pulled, he did not cause a very high speed crash at any time

Hamilton lost out on 25 points in Monza after Verstappen deliberately crashed into him in fury over bad Red Bull pit stop. Virtually everyone said it was a deliberate crash as he ran over sausage kerbs just to do it hence why he was on top of Hamilton. If he didn’t want to he could have backed out or gone around run off.

Hamilton only got a 10 second penalty in Silverstone not because of just the crash but for not hitting the apex lol when he stayed on the track. In Brazil Max gets Way with trying to swipe Hamilton out the way. Basically if Max was on inside like Hamilton in Silverstone the equivalent of what Max did in Brazil would have been to steer left completely off the track and get no penalty.

High speed crash? So if you were on the dual carriageway and you saw someone on the right hand lane, would you go into them? That is what Verstappen did and he also knew Hamilton was there. Funny Leclerc avoided a similar accident and many others in that same corner but Verstappen was the only one Hamilton couldn’t overtake as Max is a cry baby. If someone wants to overtake Max he reverts to type.

Max would have crashed into Hamilton about 20 times this season if Hamilton hadn’t avoided him. Even in Silverstone 2 corners before Hamilton avoided a crash when Verstappen did a lunge from miles back and said to Hamilton if you turn you are out the race.

Max is the only driver who does that. I hope next season Lewis drives as dirty as Max as the stewards don’t penalise dirty drivers.

It was also funny Horner said no one overtakes there yet virtually all Hamilton and everyones overtakes in that race was done in that corner. Hamilton move on Verstappen where Verstappen crashed was gonna be the easiest overtake of the lot until Max turned into him. If you actually look at most of the overtakes there the easiest overtake was gonna be the one Hamilton was gonna do on Max but as Max can’t accept anyone overtaking him he got smashed instead.

Sorry mate, but that is complete and utter rubbish

Hamilton had loads of room on the outside to get round that corner, he deliberatly turned in quicker than Verstappen so he could get the foot on the gas quicker and that's what gave him the speed and the slipstream to make an attempt at a pass down towards copse

Talking about Leclerc backing out and Lewis backing out....that's their choice

And people conveniently forget Hamilton crash a lot in his first decade. Always someone else fault mind. 🤦‍♂️
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The only reason he hasn't done it in more recent times is due to the lack of competition.

Although he still makes a lot of mistakes. Just look at Imola and Baku.

I think when people look back on his career with a bit of perspective, they'll see a guy who was just in the right place at the right time. Most of his records are just persistence rather than brilliance. He has the most race wins because he's spent his entire career in a race winning car. But things like race wins in a row or most wins in a season? He's nowhere close. Never had the consistency of the Germans like Schumacher Vettel or Rosberg.

Hopefully this signals the end of the mediocrity era of F1.
