It might, we’ll have to wait and see. We have a massive squad of players, though. So what might apply generally may not apply for us. When all players are available Amad is way down the pecking order.

That will depend on Ralf's view on the lad. From everything I have read he is a big believer in youth. If we do lose a few of the more experienced players then he might get a chance.

Early signs suggest that’s still the case, though. He’s clearly just not ready to be playing games for us yet, which is why we wanted to loan him in the summer.

How long ago did he return from injury? I was thinking it was only quite recently, but could be wrong.

He played for the u23’s at the end of October, so has been fit for a while. But as I said, he’s way down the pecking order. Has been since he joined the club, but you seem to keep contesting this and expecting him to play, for some reason.

I didn't realise he had been back from injury that long. I thought he'd only just come back a couple of weeks before the Valencia game. Yeh, probably going to be a loan for him unless we lose a few senior players.

I think him playing games is important at this stage. It he has a decent loan he can come back in the summer with more chance of being integrated into the squad next season.
We do need to try and get the balance right in the squad between youth and experience. I wouldn’t mind if we brought in some experience again in the summer, especially with the likes of Lingard, Martial and Cavani going.

From what I have heard he has been a bit of a squad plyer really and hasn't had many minutes, but also hasn't made any impact in terms of goals or assists. He will fill Sancho's shoes nicely next season when he returns.
