Cup tie under the lights at the Lane. something always special about that.
Brighton in town, good team, and I expect a tough and good game, suspecting that both coaches may play strong (but not strongest) teams.
Would be good to see the new boys get minutes, probably off the bench, although Kulu may start given he has been with us all week.
Atmosphere should be good..., I think that some doom and gloom has been lifted by the outgoings, Ndombele and Lo Celso really were just lingering around like a bad smell and seemed to bring the whole place down.
Dele - gutted to see him go, but it was the right decision for all parties. really hope he starts enjoying his football again.
We now have a fully fit, hungry squad of players that Conte wants, and will have bought into his ideas.
We have 3 home games in a row now... 1 cup (brighton) and 2 league (southampton and wolves). All very winnable, and if we were to do so then things would look very rosy in 10 days time.

I think we can beat Brighton without them. Ease them in. One or both of the can make their first start in the midweek prem game.

Yup ridiculous you still have supporters that want to buy players, and not play them. Surely any new players must improve the current starting XI.

Why is there a need to rush them and put them in at the deep end straight away? The prem is much faster than the Italian league. They will need time to adapt.

It`s still really not a very good team if you have Dier, Winks and Davies in it as a collective. You may get away with one at a time, but all three in the team, usually spells a rubbish performance. That is one of the reason`s Spurs really need to upgrade in the Summer.

Davies at LCB is totally different to having him at LB.
Dier has been good this season and so has Winks under Conte. Think you need to reset your thinking on this.

Sorry mate, why would I reset my thinking, Spurs have just lost to Chelsea three times in a couple of weeks or so. It is obvious that these are the sort of players that are holding Spurs back from really competing.
The bar is currently pretty low at Spurs, and players like Dier, Winks, Davies have not improved at all in reality, they are looking OK, because a lot of the rest of the team are playing rubbish.
Yes, Spurs will beat the easier teams, but they cannot beat any half decent side with those three in the side on a regular basis.
It is so obvious that all three need upgrading if Spurs are to really compete.
